Venture Crew 652

Good morning everyone,
So here's the update from yesterdays venture meeting. I know not everyone can make it to all of the venture events but i would like to hear from you guys anyway. Rechartering is upon us so I need to know if people wan to be rechartered with the crew or not. Mr Trompak, our committee chair, will be contacting everyone on the charter soon to get this information. Please get back to him ASAP.

1. Venturing Leadership Award- Our very own Ryan Bellmore will receive the Youth Venturing Leadership Award on April 11th. Everyone is invited to go, however, it is $30 per person to attend. I need to know by April 2, 2010 whether you are going to the dinner or not so i can send in the reservation form. (see attachment for more details)
2. T-shirts- I have created 3 designs for the t-shirt. I am attaching all 3 designs please respond with your favorite. I would like to get them made if possible by the St Patty's day Parade. The shirts will be white and green 3/4 length sleeve softball shirts. The venture logo will be on the front left side with the crew # and one of the 3 designs will be on the back. There was also talk about having the word "VENTURE" written down the right sleeve in white. It will be an extra $12 to have the screen printed and it may increase the price of the shirt per person. Right now the cost of the shirts are $12. Please reply ASAP.
3. Oil City Trip- I have reserved 2 adirondaks for our backpacking trip on April 10th-11th. They accommodate 8 people. The cost of the trip is $15 per person. I have a sign up sheet for anyone interested. I need to know if you are going by the last week of March so I can pay for the adirondaks. I realize that the next day is the award dinner for Ryan. We will leave the campsite by 8am Sunday morning and hike out. We should be back by the cars by 12 noon. Which means we should back no later than 2:30pm. This should give people enough time to get showered and ready for the dinner.
4. St Patty's Day Parade- March 17th, Wednesday. I have more info on the parade. I'm attaching the info sheet council gave me so please check it out. Again, I need to know who is going so we can all car pool there. We are marching as Venturers. So everyone should try to get their venture uniform as your outer layer.
5. Rechartering- We have to recharter by March 31st. It is a flat rate of $15 per person for everyone to recharter. I am collecting money now. Make checks payable to "Venture Crew 652". If you want to recharter and can't make it to a meeting to hand in your fees, mail them to me. My address will follow. If you have questions about rechartering, call me.
